Omicron Twinaxe

The aqueduct and sewer systems for all three Sister City members, Meade, Maddia and Oasis, were design by Omicron.

In his youth, Omicron participated in a peace exchange with neighboring dwarves. He lived for many years with them while a dwarven prince enjoyed a stay with his family. Omicron learned much about discipline from the dwarves. He was given his famous twin axes upon departure by the leader of their clan.

Captain Nienna Tennile
's appointment as Head of Meade's Eastern Fleet was largely due to her relationship with Omicron whose admiration for Captain Tennile is well known within Meade's inner circle.

His search for the magical pitcher of the water plane, which now supplies Meade with fresh drinking water, led to the completion of an innovative aqueduct and sewer system designed entirely by Omicron. The cities of the Canaled Peninsula based their systems on his work.

Omicron Twinaxe

King Tim'al Milhaah ruled the northern wood for fifty years before he was blessed by the birth of a son, Prince Omicron Milhaah, successor to the throne. There was much celebration.

Prince Omicron began his education at an early age. As with all elven royals, he was trained in the varying arts of diplomacy, magic, painting, music, and history.

Omicron was particularly fond of hunting. He was included in the royal hunting party from the age of fourteen and led his first party at the age of 21. Omicron's extensive martial training made him a proficient marksman and his skills with the sword were equally impressive. His confidence, skill and leadership abilities earned him many friends, the accolades of his instructors, and most importantly, the respect of his father.

Omicron relied on instincts and common knowledge to achieve his aims where others used magic to accomplish the task. This distinguished him further from his younger siblings.

As a youth, Omicron attended all council meeting at the king's request. Omicron's ideas were innovative and he found himself often at odds with council elders and troubled King Tim'al. He displayed exemplary oratory skills and often was able to sway the council to adopt some of his policies and recommendations.

As he grew, so did Omicron's aspirations and ambitions. At the age of 30, he was given command of the southern brigade and the rank of Wood steward.  He remained at this position for five years, until the event of his 35th birthday, when it became time fulfill his royal obligation to participate in a peaceful exchange with neighboring dwarfs. Traditionally, the chosen prince participates in a cultural exchange in an effort to secure lasting peace and greater understanding between the races. Omicron was well known to the dwarfs since the south brigade patrolled the border connecting both kingdoms. This made him a perfect choice for the exchange. Omicron packed his belongings, kissed his mother, hugged his father and brothers, and embarked on his new life with the dwarfs.

Living with the dwarfs opened Omicron to new experiences.  His mentor was the court magistrate who gave him access and insight into the inner workings of the dwarven royal court. Politics soon revealed itself to be Omicron's true passion. He realized the power of knowledge and the danger of being without it.

In time, Omicron grew impatient and curious of the greater world. His friend, the magistrate, made sure Omicron was allowed on the shorter trading expeditions, but he knew this would not satisfy him long. Omicron shined during this period in his life and he was appointed chieftain due to his developed diplomatic skills. He would oversee all trade in and out of the dwarven empire.

Every deal and every meeting with an outside tribe or kingdom was conducted under his watch.  During this time, dwarven goods were being sought by the rich as well as the poor. This brought great  riches and much deserved recognition to his adoptive dwarven bretheren.

During a routine expeditions to a neighboring kingdom in the east, Omicron's caravan was attacked by raiders.Omicron furiously hunted down the raiders. For three days, he searched until finally locating their hideout. He fought with only his hand axes.Of 15, but three raiders survived earning him the name Twin Axe. Needless to say that his caravans never got raided again, at least not when he was there. For 30 years, Omicron oversaw the trade caravans and even embarked on several sea voyages looking for potential business.  It was during this time when he developed a curiosity towards the sea.

After coming home from a sea expedition to the western continent, he petitioned the court to allow him to leave the dwarven kingdom and sail the seas.  after much debate, Omicron was given permission with the condition that  he would return to defend his adopted home if ever he was needed.  Omicron agreed.  Once again he packed his belongings, said his goodbyes, and off to the coast he went.
